Rodrigue Gabriel Gilbert, simply known as Rod Gilbert, was born on July 1, 1941 in Montreal, Quebec. He is a retired professional ice hockey player who played for New York Rangers. He finished his junior career during the 1960-1961 season with the Guelph Royals.
