Rich Hill is a Major League Baseball player who is currently playing for the Boston Red Sox. Hill plays as the starting pitcher for the Red Sox organization. Hill, who was born in Milton, Massachusetts, went to Milton High School and played in the school's baseball team starting from his freshman year. Hill decided to attend the University of Michigan. Originally, Hill was drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in 1999 but he decided to go to college. During the 2002 MLB draft, Hill was selected by the Chicago Cubs during the fourth round of the draft. In the 2007 season, Hill was able to pitch a perfect game. Hill also played for the Baltimore Orioles, and then the St. Louis Cardinals before signing with the Red Sox.
