Orlando Pena is a retired professional baseball player who occupied the pitcher position while he was in the Major League Baseball. Pena appeared in the MLB from the 1958 season all the way to the 1975 season. Pena was born in Victoria de Las Tunas, Cuba and enjoyed fourteen seasons in the league. Prior to the start of the 1956 season, Pena was traded to the Cincinnati Redlegs. The details of the trade were not divulged. After playing for the minor affiliates of the Redlegs for two seasons, Pena was sent to the Milwaukee Braves where he played in the minors the entire time he was with the team. Pena was then sent to the Kansas City Athletics a season after. Pena was able to play for the Athletics for a total of two seasons signing with the Pittsburgh Pirates and then for the Baltimore Orioles. Pena also played for the California Angels and the St. Louis Cardinals. By the time that he retired in 1975, Pena was able to come up with an ERA of 3.71 and pitched in a total of 427 games.
