Mark Alan Williamson is from Corpus Christi, Texas and is formerly a professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball. He was born on July 21, 1959 and attended high school in Mount Miguel. He played college baseball for the San Diego State University . Williamson threw right- handed and batted both right and left handed. He started his professional career when he was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 4th round of the 1982 Amateur Draft. He signed with the Baltimore Orioles and made his MLB debut on April 8, 1987 in a game against the Texas Rangers which the Orioles lost. He continued playing for the Orioles in his 7- year career. One notable game that he played was a July 13, 1991 game against the Oakland Athletics where he pitched a no- hitter together with Bob Milacki, Mike Flanagan , and Gregg Olson. It was the last combined no- hitter in Baltimore history. Williamson's last game was a loss against the Milwaukee Brewers on August 4, 1994. He retired with a 46-35 win- loss record, with a 3.86 earned run average and 397 strikeouts.
