He played college basketball at University of Minnesota and after an impressive career in college; he was picked by the St. Louis Hawks in the 1996 NBA Draft as 4th pick. Hudson was selected for the National Basketball Association All-Rookie Team. In his rookie season, he made a PPG average of 18.4 points.
