Kenneth Victor Rudolph is a former professional baseball player. He was born on December 29, 1946 in Rockford, Illinois. He is a right- handed thrower and batter and spent his college days at the Los Angeles Community College. Ken Rudolph began his professional career when he was drafted by the Chicago Cubs as the 26th overall pick in the 2nd round of the 1965 Major League Baseball Entry Draft. He made his major league debut on April 20, 1969 for the Cubs against the Montreal Expos. On September 1974, he was traded by the Cubs to the San Francisco Giants for Willie Prall. Just a few months later, he was sent together with Elias Sosa to the St. Louis Cardinals and on March 1977, his playing rights were sold back to the San Francisco Giants and he then was sent to the Baltimore Orioles. He was then released by the Baltimore Orioles on January 1978 and then was signed as a free agent by the St. Louis Cardinals just a few months after. His last game as a player was on September 1977 against the Cincinnati Reds. At present, Rudolph works as the head varsity baseball coach of the Arcadia High School.
