Ken Hill Jerseys

Ken Hill, born Kenneth Wade Hill, is a retired professional baseball player who hails from Massachusetts. He was a starting pitcher for the Cleveland Indians and also played for the St. Louis Cardinals who drafted him to play professionally. He joined the league in 1989 and made an impressive start. However, Hill was not able to maintain the good start and had a 7-15 record at the end of his first rookie season. He showed improvement in 1991 when he posted a batting average of 3.57 and recorded 11-10. In November of that great season for Hill, he was transferred to the Montreal Expos in exchange for Andres Galarraga. He finished the 1994 season with 16 games won, 3.32 ERA and was included in that year's All-Star team. He was a second placer for the Cy Young Award and went back to the St. Louis Cardinals. Unfortunately, he had a bad season again with this team. He was traded to the Cleveland Indians and appeared in the minor league. After the 1995 season, he opted to go into free agency and had a deal with the Texas Rangers. Hill also appeared in the major league for the Anaheim Angels. According to reviews, he showed a decline in performance two seasons after the 1997 season. He joined the Tampa Bay Devil Rays in 2001 and played his last MLB game for the team on April 18, 2001.
