Glen Anthony Rice is a retired American professional basketball player of the National Basketball Association. The 43-year old man was born on May 28, 1967 in Flint, Michigan (USA). He spent his career in NBA from 1989-2004 for a position as guard/forward with a jersey no. 41. He played college basketball at the University of Michigan. During his 15 years in playing basketball, he made it to the Big Ten Athlete of the Year, NCAA Basketball Tournament Most Outstanding Player and NCAA Men's Basketball Championship in 1989. He was also the NBA Three-Point Shootout Winner in 1995. Well known for his pinpoint shooting accuracy with one of the smoothest shot in the game, he was awarded 3-time NBA All-Star in 1996, 1997 and 1998. Ranking 8th in the NBA history he has won the NBA All-Star Game MVP in1997 and NBA Champion in 2000. He was drafted number 4 overall in the NBA draft in 1989. Since then, he starts playing for a couple of NBA teams like Miami Heat in 1989 to 1995. He was traded by Miami with the Charlotte Hornets in 1995 to 1998. He spent 2 years playing for Los Angeles Lakers in 1998 to 2000 and a year for New York Knicks in 2001. Rice also played for Houston Rockets as part of 3-team deal in 2001 to 2003. He signed as a free agent for Los Angeles Clippers in 2003 to 2004. One of Glen Rice NBA highlights was when he won the NBA All Star Long Distance Shootout game in Phoenix in 1995.
