Buddy Groom Jerseys

Buddy Groom is a retired professional baseball player in the Major League Baseball. He was a middle relief pitcher while playing in the MLB. Born in Dallas, Texas, Groom went to the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. He was selected in the 1987 amateur draft by the Chicago White Sox. He played for the White Sox affiliates in the minors until he signed in 1990 with the Detroit Tigers. Groom was able to make his debut appearance in the MLB for the Tigers in 1992. However, it wasn't until 1995 when he would win a decision. During that season, Groom was converted into relief pitcher. Groom was traded to the Florida Marlins in exchange for Mike Myers in the later part of the 1995 season. Spending only one season with the Marlins, Groom decided to sign with the Oakland Athletics and continued to play for the team until in 1999. Groom made another move this time from the Athletics to the Baltimore Orioles in 1999 and played for the Orioles until 2004. Groom signed with the Yankees in 2005 for a very brief stint with the team. He was designated for assignment shortly within the year. Groom last played for the Arizona Diamondbacks in the MLB.
