Artis Gilmore is a retired professional basketball player. He played both the American Basketball Association and the National Basketball Association during different periods of his activity. He went to Jacksonville University and led his team to the NCAA Division I Championships. Gilmore first played in the ABA for the Kentucky Colonels.
