Anthony Reyes is a professional baseball player who is currently seen in the Major League Baseball. Hailing from Whittier, California, he played collegiately at University of South California where he spent the 2000 to 2003 season. He was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in 2002 but he did not sign and proceeded with the team and instead chose to play for the last year in the university. As a college baseball athlete, he performed very well and received the Pac-10 award and made a record of 17-16. His professional career finally began with the St. Louis Cardinals which initially assigned him to play in the farm system. He played for the Palm Beach Cardinals and the Memphis Redbirds. He continued to spend a few more seasons in the minors and finally had his Major League Baseball debut on August 9, 2005. After his first game in the majors, he was moved to the minors again and returned to play in MLB in the 2006 season. He was able to appear in the World Series of the 2006 season and recorded an ERA of 6.08 in the 2007 season. In 2008, he signed with the Cleveland Indians which is still his current team.
